Burger Go Where

Central, Sheung Wan & Western

Central, Sheung Wan and the Western district run from the steep lanes around Hollywood Road out to Sai Ying Pun and Kennedy Town, with cocktail bars, small kitchens and neighbourhood restaurants close together.

Burger Circus is Black Sheep's retro diner on Hollywood Road, smashing USDA Prime patties. The Diplomat, John Nugent's cocktail bar at H Code, serves a single Ozaki Wagyu cheeseburger ranked fourth in the World's 101 Best Burger Places 2026. In Kennedy Town, N+ Burger uses hormone-free Angus from New South Wales, Smash'd bakes its own buns and Beeger offers burgers on a Hong Kong pineapple bun. Mirror Burger in Sai Ying Pun serves lotus root chips, and BUNZ in Sheung Wan is a takeaway smash counter with a Sichuan-spiced signature.

The Island Line stops at Central, Sheung Wan, Sai Ying Pun and Kennedy Town, and the tram is a cheap way along the waterfront. The Mid-Levels Escalator helps on the hills around Hollywood Road. Parking is scarce, so take the MTR, and expect after-work crowds on weekday evenings.
