Mirror Burger is a home-grown chain that makes every burger to order. Its Sai Ying Pun shop on Queen's Road West is open from late morning until midnight, which makes it handy for a late bite on the western side of Hong Kong Island.
Patties combine Australian Angus chuck and brisket with Wagyu fat, and vegetables and buns are delivered fresh each morning. The Classic Beef (HK$73) is a straightforward cheeseburger; the Hottest Beef (HK$76) adds pickled jalapeño. Fried chicken, soft-shell crab and vegetarian burgers fill out the menu, and sides include sweet potato fries, buffalo or smoky wings and renkon chips (HK$18) made from lotus root, a lighter swap for fries.
Inexpensive and quick, it suits a solo lunch or a late-evening snack. Halal status is not stated. Other branches are in Fortress Hill and Tsuen Wan, and online ordering runs through its Oddle page.
