Koh Samui's burger scene is compact, with a handful of independents around Chaweng, Lamai and the north coast, mostly casual and relaxed, and the kind of place that suits families and groups after a beach day.

Stacked on South Chaweng Beach Road offers build-your-own toppings and was ranked third in Big Seven Travel's list of Thailand's best burgers. Let's Eat Best Burgers in Lamai is a family-run classic-rock diner baking its own buns daily since 2020, and Homemade Burgers & Sandwiches in Ban Tai, near Maenam, is a garden cafe with outdoor tables, a children's play area and dogs welcome.

The Ring Road links all three, so a scooter, car or taxi is the easiest way to get between them. Chaweng is busiest in the evening, while the Ban Tai garden cafe works well for a daytime stop with children. Stacked is close to the Chaweng beach strip, and Let's Eat Best Burgers is on the main road through Lamai.
