Homemade Burgers & Sandwiches

Homemade Burgers & Sandwiches is a timber café just off the Ring Road in Ban Tai, between Maenam and Bophut, set in a leafy garden with outdoor tables. It is popular with expats and visitors, holds 4.8 on Tripadvisor from more than 500 reviews, and Samui Unlocked included it in its July 2026 round-up of burger places on Koh Samui.

Burgers and sandwiches are the main draw, made on soft sesame buns. The house beef burger comes loaded with cheese, bacon, avocado and onion rings, and there is a smoked salmon and egg burger for something lighter, plus vegetarian and vegan options. The rest of the menu covers breakfasts, Thai dishes, pasta, salads and desserts, so mixed groups are easy to feed. Prices are modest.

Good for a family lunch, with a children's play area and dogs welcome. It opens from 10am to 9.30pm, but only until midday on Thursday. Halal status is not stated. For a burger-only menu nearby, Prime Burger is near the entrance to Fisherman's Village in Bophut.
