PEPR. began as a pre-order business run by former accountant Theo Tedjasasmita and his wife Clairine Runtung, then opened as a small diner among the shophouses of Rukan Permata Senayan in 2024. The name and the bun-shaped cat logo come from their rescue cat Pedro, and the buns were developed over eight months with artisan bakery Bread Culture.
The Double Smashed Cheeseburger, inspired by the Quarter Pounder, stacks two thin patties with red cheddar, onions and pickles. Son of a Bun adds sautéed garlic mushroom and bone marrow for a richer bite, and the PEPR Chicken Sandwich is a milder take on Nashville hot chicken with coleslaw. Order The Golden Fries, hand-cut and lightly salted. Burgers run about Rp63,000 to Rp90,000.
Good for office lunches and relaxed evenings with friends. A second outlet operates at Urban Forest Cipete, and a 2026 guide also refers to the original site as Patal Senayan.
