Lawless Burgerbar grew out of Lawless Jakarta, the Kemang biker and metal shop co-founded by broadcaster Gofar Hilman and friends. The original burger bar on Kemang Selatan VIII leans fully into the theme: staff in black, band posters on dark walls and loud music. It has since spread across the city.
Burgers are large and named after rock icons. The Lemmy stacks double beef patties with cheese, plenty of sauce and an egg over-easy; the Sabbath Burger is the house cheeseburger in single or double form, and the Motley Burg is another regular. Patties can be cooked to order. Vegetarians get the Joey Bellodona, a whole portobello burger with dill dressing. Burgers run about Rp45,000 to Rp135,000, and cocktails are available.
Best for groups and a burger-and-drinks night. Some menu items contain pork, so Muslim diners should check. Other branches include Menteng, Blok M, Pondok Indah, Cilandak Town Square and Land's End PIK.
