Billy's Smokehouse

Billy's Smokehouse is a Texas-style barbecue joint and whiskey bar in Mahatun Plaza on Ploenchit Road, steps from BTS Phloen Chit. Smoked meats fill most of the menu, but the burgers are a big part of its reputation, and Time Out included it among Bangkok's best burgers in December 2024.

The headline is the bacon triple cheeseburger (B450): three Himawari wagyu patties, five strips of bacon, caramelised onions and the house sauce. For something simpler, Billy's Burger is modelled on an In-N-Out Double-Double, with two thin, well-crusted patties, plain cheese slices and a house-made potato bun. Smoked brisket, ribs and Mexican-leaning dishes such as barbecued cod in almond mole fill out the table, and the bar pours bourbon mojitos.

Good for an after-work burger with drinks in the Ploenchit and Chidlom office district. Portions are large, so sharing sides works well. There are no other branches.
