Barney's Burger Joint

Barney's has been feeding Ari since around 2015 from a tiny shopfront on Phahonyothin Soi with no seating, so this is strictly takeaway. It turns up on almost every Bangkok burger list, including Time Out's best burgers in 2024 and best smash burgers in 2025, and it regularly sells out before closing.

The patties are a blend of Australian Black Angus and wagyu, smashed until crisp, salty and beefy, and sold as single, double or triple stacks, with singles from about B160. The American Trucker double cheeseburger (around B250 in 2021) is the one most people order. The menu is short and the focus is the beef rather than toppings.

Go early in the afternoon and plan to eat in the nearby Ari side streets or take it home. Prices are low for the meat quality. There are no other branches.
