ROKUS a.g.b is a stall inside Lau Pa Sat, the Victorian cast-iron market in Raffles Place, run by a third-generation hawker family with a small kitchen team. It mixes Korean flavours with Western burgers and sits among the market's better-known satay and noodle stalls.
The Tteokbokki Burger (S$13.90) tops a beef patty with chewy rice cakes in spicy sauce, and the Gochujang Burger (S$12.90) is the more straightforward option; both come with hand-cut fries. Beyond burgers there are rice bowls, folded kimbap and ramyeon dishes such as hamburg steak ramyeon.
It suits a fast CBD lunch or a late snack, as Lau Pa Sat stays busy into the night and the stall has been reported open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Halal status is not certified; the stall signage indicates no pork, but check at the counter. Expect office crowds between noon and 1.30pm on weekdays.
