Phat Burger Bro is a neighbourhood diner on the ground floor of Valley Point, on the River Valley Road stretch near Great World. Local artwork lines the walls, the soundtrack runs from old-school rock to hip-hop, and the team makes its patties, pickles and sauces in-house.
The Classic Double Cheeseburger (around S$18) is the one to order: two USDA beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, homemade pickles, grilled onions and Phat Burger sauce in a toasted sesame milk bun. The Turf & Turf and Philly cheese burgers are heartier options, and the Northeast Chicken Burger uses a parmesan-crusted cutlet with provolone and roasted peppers. Chilli con carne with house-cut fries and a Chicago dog are good sides.
It suits a relaxed weeknight dinner or weekend brunch for residents of River Valley, and opens daily from 10am. Bacon features on the menu, so it is not halal. Reservations are taken through WhatsApp or the website, and delivery runs through GrabFood and foodpanda.
