Woodfire began in Johor Bahru and has spread across Malaysia with a smokehouse angle: brisket, smoked lamb rib and burgers that can be ordered with a beef or chicken patty. The TTDI branch on Jalan Wan Kadir 3 was its early Kuala Lumpur foothold, with beef and chicken patties rather than pork.
The Brisket Burger (RM39.90) is the signature, piling sliced smoked brisket onto the patty. The Double Patty and Double Patty Mix, which pairs beef with chicken, cost RM29.90, and the Smoked Burger is RM23.90. Curly fries are RM6.90, with cheese and coney fries for more indulgence. A mushroom and hash brown vegetarian burger is available.
Good for groups who want generous portions without a big bill. Friday opening is from 3pm. Other Klang Valley branches include Bukit Jalil, Ampang, Sentul, Shah Alam, Setia Alam and Cyberjaya. Some guides describe it as halal, but certification is not shown on the website, so check in store.
