KGB started on Jalan Telawi in Bangsar and now runs as KGB Diner across the Klang Valley, with a checkerboard, American diner look. The TTDI branch on Jalan Aminuddin Baki is one of its longest-running sites. The website states that only halal ingredients are used, with beef bacon and turkey ham in place of pork.
Animal Style (RM18.90) is the core order: Angus beef, sharp cheddar, caramelised onions and Shack sauce, also available doubled. The Truffled Swiss adds sautéed portobello, Swiss cheese and truffle oil (RM25.50), and the Bobcat brings roasted green chillies and jalapeño mayo. There are grilled and fried chicken versions, a vegan Chloe's Earth patty, and a set with a side and drink for RM9.50 extra.
A dependable pick for families and groups, with breakfast plates and kids' meals. Other branches are at The Gardens Mall, Pavilion KL, Tropicana Gardens Mall, Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang and DPULZE Cyberjaya; the company is still based at 23 Jalan Telawi 2, Bangsar.
